A person is in the habit of constantly checking on valuable
items and therefore a
person would notice he is missing a valuable item and have יאוש
לא הוי יאוש, בדבר שיש
בו סימן
There is no יאוש with an object that has a סימן because when the owner becomes aware that he has lost this item he will not give up hope of finding it due to the fact that he can identify his possession.

The first thing that are group did in this project was to start learning
the Gemara. We all learnt the different
sections of our chapter, so that we would understand where are individual
portions fit into it. After learning the
chapter and its Tosphotim, we started to split up the
chapter using the Gemara Berura, to get a better
understanding of the steps of the Gemara.
After we finished with the Gemara Berura, we
each took our individual pieces and started to make our power points and
finally combining them into the presentation.
